My name is Bambi and I'm a boston terrier with a pinch of pug. I stopped to rest at the front door of this really nice lady's house and when she saw me she was about to out for a jog. She was surprised when she came back that I stayed there waiting for her. I had nowhere to go. She brought me some water and I drank it all up fast. She wondered then if I needed some food and I ate all that too! It got me in the front door where I was bathed for my skin condition, loved, given a bed and two big dogs I thought were ponies. She checked to see if anyone was looking for me and they weren't. She reached out to rescues to find me a home because she was afraid of my fate at a shelter and boy, she was right! I'm 10-12 years old and about 10 pounds under weight. My heart is damaged from a severe case of heartworms and the disease makes me a bad candidate for heartworm treatment. It would kill me faster than it would cure me. Heartworm prevention will help though because it will kill off any babies and work on some of those adult ones too. I love to kiss and be kissed and I love a human lap and belly rubs. I've got a bed to call my own and other pugs to hang with. I'm a complete lady in the potty department too.
